Inspecting & Testing
Dimensional inspection equipment includes a mix of manual inspection tools as well as coordinate-measuring machines. Fully certified operators perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using fluorescent penetrant and Ultrasonic Wall Thickness. Other NDT techniques such as radiographic inspection also are available.

Brazing
Brazing is one of the most versatile methods of joining metals in use today. Brazed joints are strong and ductile, and the process is highly adaptable and economical. In addition, brazed materials perform well in abrasive, corrosive and high-temperature conditions. Given these and numerous other features, brazing has become popular and effective in a variety of industrial uses as well as gas turbine applications.

Heat Treatment
Administering a heat-treating process to brazed components further enhances the strength of brazed joints. Heat treating welded parts removes residual stress.

Using programmable controllers that monitor the heat treating process to assure a homogenous and correctly treated product, PAS Technologies can heat treat in several different atmospheres, including argon, helium, nitrogen and vacuum. Our ovens allow for precise control of critical variables (for accurate, reproducible results) and feature fast cool-down rates that reduce oven and turn times.
